The Mietta Song Competition is excited to hear that Sean Peter Ross, graduate of the University of Melbourne, has composed an opera based on the life of Tchaikovsky.
Ross, who won the 2014 Director's Choice Award in the opera composition competition of the Boston International Contempo Festival, plans to stage the opera featuring young and emerging musicians, including former Mietta Song Competition semi-finalist Jade Moffatt.
